Challenge

Lifeblood: The Thromobosis Charity has a mission to pursue the advancement of medical science in relation to the diagnosis, causes, prevention, alleviation, management and cure of thrombosis. Already having launched campaigns that have seen change in government policy, Kennedy Digital were charged with redeveloping the charities website to allow ease of use (administration) and to provide an online resource for the wealth of content.


Strategy

Gaining a good understanding of the charities ethos was fundamental in creating a successful strategy to satsify all stakeholders. After initial meetings, Kennedy Digital delivered a simplified data structure to target the three key user groups, being 'Public', 'Professional' and 'Fundraisers'. With a large emphasis placed on the content held within the site, Kennedy Digital worked with Lifeblood to improve content clarity and to allow users to easily digest key information.

A simple, clean and clear site was developed in-conjunction with an easy to use and intuative administration panel to reduce overhead and to provide a better user experience.

Further elements to the project included the deployment of an integrated eCommerce shop, allowing promotional items to be sold.


Results
